between a child merely dreaming about a hopeful
future, and that same child having an
opportunity to achieve her dreams - the way
Washington and millions of other kids have -
thanks to the caring adult guidance received at
the Boys & Girls Club.
"Research conducted among Club alumni indicates
that a majority of Club members attend college,
and many are the first ones in their family ever
to do so, we try
to help kids imagine a brighter future, which
they can achieve by setting goals and working
hard. We help them realize the value of
education, and aspire to attend college and
pursue their dreams. That's the message this
campaign is designed to convey."
