Programs
Serving Citrus County for 16 Years. We are
"The Positive Place for Kids" The Boys & Girls Clubs of
Citrus County work to not only meet, but exceed
the needs of the county's children. It is our
belief that every child needs somewhere safe to
go before and after school, and on workdays when
school is not in session. Our neighborhood based
clubhouses and Kidstop programs have varying
hours designed to accommodate the differing
needs for childcare depending on season and
school status.
Local Boys & Girls Club programs
strive to engage youth in activities with
adults, peers and family members that enable
them to develop both the skills and the self
esteem to reach their full potential. The Boys &
Girls Club of Citrus County offers a number of
program activities. |

The Boys
and Girls Club of Citrus County has 3
neighborhood-based clubhouses. These
building-centered facilities are located
throughout the county, with each serving
children from several local schools.
Thanks to generous funding from both the
United Way and Children's Services
Council, we are able to keep membership
costs down in order to better serve
those who need us most.
