The Youth of the Year program recognizes club members for their service to the club, to the community and to family.  The program acknowledges members for their academic successes, strong moral character, and life goals. Each club recognizes one member each month as the Youth of the Month and from these 12, selects one to represent their club as their Youth of the Year. A final Youth of the Year is chosen from the 3 finalists to represent the Boys & Girls Clubs of Citrus County.  The Youth of the Year is presented at the organization’s annual Steak & Steak Dinner in the spring.
